City Club’s New Leaders Council invites you to attend “Orange Revolution,” a Ukrainian-election themed dinner discussion from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 4 at City Club Commons (901 S.W. Washington).
Cafe Voila will serve an authentic Ukrainian dinner with discussion led by guest speakers Alexandra Hrycak, Paul Terdal and Tatiana Moroz Terdal, who served as election monitors in Ukraine during the December 2004 repeat presidential runoff. The panel will lead a dialogue among guests about how various stages of political legitimacy can affect elections, both in the Ukraine and in the U.S., what the differences were between the two countries' elections, and ways in which each might be improved.
This dinner discussion is open to the public, but seating is limited. Tickets are $20 per person and must be purchased in advance no later than March 1 by calling City Club at 503-228-7231, ext. 103.
