It's Raining! YAYAYAY!

in Central Oregon anyway, just north of Bend. I feel like doing a rain dance but I have a cast on my foot. I love the smell of August rain, don't you???

1. Yes, it poured in Seattle yesterday

and I have to admit, it smelled wonderful - something to do with the dust and the hard ground, versus when it's been raining a lot and the new rain doesn't dance around so much. I guess it's dancing rain.

We had thunder in Portland, a little different for us at midday.


Feels good to knock the dust down.

4. With all the plowed up fields laid bare and dust blowing around-what

a relief to have some rain dampen those dust devils here in the W'ette Valley.

5. Off and on showers in Portland all day today

It pours when it rains, though...last shower ended about half an hour ago...

I did see the clouds though, and it was cool enough to close the doors, wear pajamas, and use a blanket last night. :-)
