I was listening to OPB on the way home and heard him talk about his vision for Oregon. I was VERY impressed. He has been Mayor of Monmouth and served two tours in Iraq. He sounds like a solid Democrat with a backbone and good ideas for our future. I plan on contributing to his campaign, even though I live on the other side of the mountains. Those of you who live in the valley, please give of your time (or whatever you can) for this guy, he sounds like the real deal to me! He is running against the republican incumbent, Jackie Winters, so he faces an uphill fight. Please help him any way you can and spread the word!

1. I heard Paul on Thom Hartmann's show awhile back. I like him!

He went to high school with my daughters and was impressive, intelligent and forward-thinking even then. I wish him the best and he definitely has my support. He'll make a fine legislator!
