Isn't it funny that we don't talk about politics at our meet ups?

Really it's funny. We spend all this time on our computers hoping to have an effect in changing what we perceive as great injustice, only to avoid the topics that are most important to our lives. However, let me be clear, I had a great time hanging out with you guys tonight. It was fun to be able to talk to people who will give you honest feedback and shear their experience's. The thing that is funny to me is that once people come from behind their computers, it's like they lost their mask and are exposed. Am I wrong in this, or am I just drunk, lonely, and rambling? Anyway, If any of you Portland DUer's are still up and want to yak', I'll be up until I pass out.

I rarely go online anymore: life is a fucking STRUGGLE ! ....

Freed ? .... We dont talk much about politics, because we generally agree on political issues: there is no great divide between us .... and DAMN that beer tastes so good and the food so scrumptious ....

We are among friends, and perhaps we enjoy NOT having to worry about politics a lil while ...

This is what we MUST do, however, in the future: We MUST plan on getting involved in the election process, at the local level, and TRY to make a difference locally AND globally by participating actively ....

I am too busy to seek out avenues of political expression, even as I agree with the thrust of those expressions ..... But I am willing to participate IF I can be guided to those avenues ....
