May 6th is the next MeetUp... we need to find a new venue... |
|
We need to branch out, experience more of the Portland Eclectic Spirit. :)
Outside covered seating is ideal, but non-smoking inside works too. Must also be accessible to Trimet.
Previous suggestions (that we have not been to) include
Horse Brass on Belmont It's a Brit-pub model. (I don't think they have a non-smoking section thought :( )
New Lucky Lab at NW @19th and Quimby
New Old Lompoc in NW better brews, better variety of brews. Great outdoor patio.
Moon and Sixpence (outdoor patio on a nice day), Roots Brewing. and Amnesia Brewing on Mississippi is wonderful, too, with covered outdoor seating.
Raccoon Lodge on the Beaverton-Hillsdale Hwy (near Raleigh Hills Fred Meyer) they have outdoor seating, are on a major bus line and there is a parking lot!
Thanks to everyone for the suggestions! You know who you are. ;)
Vote early and vote often! :)

3. Hey There Depakid and Viva ! ... |
|
I have been to the Raccoon Lodge a couple of times; they have decent grub and brews, but I cannot speak of any outdoors seating, as I went in the winter ....
I keep forgetting: is there some problem with the Bridgeport Brewery downtown ? ...
My memory is going fast ....
What did I just say ? ...
Chuckles .....

Seriously! I think I'm gonna call his local office and tell them we would like to buy him a beer (or several) for having the cajones to filibuster! What time are we meeting? 4pm again?

Had some things come up last month, but I'll be there, wherever it is. I vote for "any of the above".

My personal life has been sheer hell for the last three months. It will be great to debrief with you all.
Raccoon Lodge works for me...I was there once about five years ago, and it was cool. Hope to see you there!

For a good reason though. My Dad's 75th falls on the 6th and we are having a family get-together. I can't believe my father is going to be 75!!! Enjoy the sun (hopefully) and good company. Hope to see you all in June!

11. Hi Viva, Steve and others we've met... |
|
We won't be able to make this gathering. Al and I are going to Europe next week and we're just scheduled up the kazoo until then.
Our hearts will be with you. Hope all is well with you guys.
In peace,
Radio_Lady and spouse

Visiting my brother in Montana this weekend so I won't be able to come this time. June looks good, though, schedule-wise.

I spent the day doing yardwork and then fell asleep on the couch. Not the most exciting of times!
Ah well. Next month, for sure.
