What would residents of the Northwest like from a local forum?

I've been thinking about this project for a very long time now and I've finally decided to get the ball rolling. For years I've wanted to create a local political forum was more than just another state on a giant national forum.

I want to ask you, the potential users: What you would like to see in a Northwest discussion forum? Any suggestions, ideas, comments, recommendations? Please advise, this project is for you and others of our community.
