Any recommendations for voting in the Washington cty elections?

As a first-time WaCo voter recently relocated from SE Portland, I've got to say, I'm a bit stymied with the selection here. Any Washington county DUers have strong opinions on the local races?

1. Here's a couple

from the League of conservation voters:

Deseri Caldwell for county commissioner, Katheryn Harington for Metro District 4.

Don't know about county commissioner at large yet or Metro Auditor. Gotta figure the judges out, too.

2. Yeah, i've been going with the OLCV when possible

but there are a lot where I just don't see a useful endorsement either way and the candidate statements are unclear. I'm also not voting for any candidate who brags about their "voluntary incentives for environmental protection", which is basically the same as saying, "If you think you can make more money from a tax break than polluting the planet to reduce production costs, go for it." These need to be hardline laws with penalties, not a choice of handouts to wastrels.
