Women drive to court in stolen truck, are arrested

There were only two things wrong with Chelsi Guinn's and Kristie Jeffers' decision to attend court Tuesday.

One, the vehicle they were driving was reported stolen. Two, there was 21 grams of meth inside the vehicle, police said.

Sure enough, after the pair pulled into the parking lot at the Marion County courthouse annex to attend a court appearance for Guinn's boyfriend, sheriff's Deputy Dave Wagner recognized the 1984 Toyota truck as one reported stolen.

"It was right there and as I'm shaking my head, I'm thinking, it can't be it, I saw the plate," Wagner said.
