So?? An impromptu Poll

This is a poll for the DUer's from Oregon that I have come to know. And, the DUer's I have seen around this little DU Oregon form. Who do you like in the debates? If I can be so forward, for whom are you voting for? Be advised, this is an unscientific poll, so I only want to hear from the 15 or so of you Oregon DUer's who have been posting hear for the last couple of years. Let me say , Sandnsea, Lonewolf, those new people who are studying down in Eugene, and of course the regulars I want you to chime in too. What did you think of the debates?? Whom do you support???

Note this poll will be open until the November elections. However you don't have to wait until then to respond to this poll. I would like to know what we in Oregon are thinking.

1. Obama supporter here

After last night's debate, Obama's performance finally won me over. I was originally hoping Gore would run, but he didn't. Then, my support went to Edwards, but because he pulled out, I really had no choice but to support Obama. I really don't want a Bush/Clinton/Bush/Clinton dynasty, so Obama is it. I've been unsure about him until last night.
Clinton just doesn't speak for me. I don't trust her and I definitely don't trust Bill. He has been too cozy with Bush père and that makes me sick.

So, that is who I support.

I really miss going to the meet-ups, though. Hope it's okay to participate in your un-scientific poll.

4. Hopefully we can win Oregon either way

I think Oregon is going to go Blue either, just hoping we can turn a couple house seats blue and win by a large margin.

My choice's closely resemble your's. I now am suporting Obama too. And not just because he is a black guy, but that has been working out well for me. you know me being a black guy and all. Whatever happens I am glad it will be a Dem in power this time around.

I can't, in good conscience, support either, so I will be focusing on what I CAN still do. I can happily support any of the current primary candidates vying for the chance to defeat Smith, so I will put my energies there.

It's unlikely that my rep in the House will be defeated, but I'll be there for whoever steps up to take him on.

I am an early supporter of Steve Novick. So I'm with you on that note. Oregon should be an easy win for us. I have been waiting long time to get Smith out of office. This is a good opportunity to do just that.

I'm leaning in Novick's direction right now, but I'll happily campaign for whoever is running in the general to defeat Smith.

I can't even find a challenger for Walden in the 2nd district. There were four challengers two years ago, but I don't know what choices are out there this time around.

5. I'm liking Obama, but I admit to not paying much attention lately

The thing about Obama, he's energetic and inspirational, and at least as trustworthy as his competitors. I had my doubts early on, but I think he can motivate voters positively, win in the general election, and maybe do a lot to help this nation recover from the humiliation and decay of the bush years.

I love that he has vision and can speak it so well .... Being a leader means you have to be able to convince and persuade, which explains (in my view) how Obama has been capturing hearts and minds in his long campaign ..... I am becoming more and more convinced He is the man .....
