And Oregon Ballots get mailed out on Friday.
I'm hand-delivering the two from my house to the Multnomah County Courthouse.

3. Well, I sure didn't see that one coming |

They've been such bush cheerleaders for the last 4 years, it's a bit surprising that they're turning on him now. And of course, their editorial endorsing Kerry is laced with apologetic praise for bush's policies. But this does represent a significant break from the Newhouse leadership.
The Oregonian put its own reporting team in Iraq, and now they've endorsed Sen. Kerry. Could be a sign of an internal struggle for independence and regional responsibility.

4. They seem to be bi-polar in their endorsements |

While I am ecstatic about the Kerry endorsement, I am still scratching my head about their endorsement of RW whackjob Goli Ameri over David WU (I'm not in his district). Ms. Ameri supports almost all of Bush's positions, so how can they criticize Bush's policies & yet endorse someone else who supports those same policies.
