KOIN-TV report on voter fraud |
|
I saw their spot on the 11 o'clock news on Tuesday night. It did not report that the group associated with voter fraud (Voter Outreach For America) was associated with the Republicans. Here's my letter to them:
Dear sirs,
In your reporting of the story on voter fraud on October 12th, you neglected to report some important information regarding the group behind the tearing up of voters' registration cards. The organization "Voter Outreach For America" has close ties to the Republican Party. In the Reuters report on Oct. 12, it noted that 2 workers for the group had reported seeing a supervisor tearing up Democratic registration cards and tossing them away while keeping the Republican ones. I believe this is either a gross oversight or deliberate biased editing in the handling of this story. The political affiliation of this group should have been reported. This is a dangerous trend that is occurring in several states prior to the election.
You may wish to give them an e-mail (webnews@koin.com)
