Voting DeFazio, not Kerry

I swear, somebody told me that today. He loves DeFazio, otherwise he's voting Republican. I just said DeFazio is a great guy because Feldkamp is running a tough campaign this year, didn't want to risk losing a vote. These people obviously pay NO attention. DeFazio is waaaay to the left of Kerry. :crazy:

DeFazio is of course THE MAN, but how could someone even think to vote DeFazio and not Kerry? Methinks negative ads may have something to do with it.

DeFazio is a great politician. He doesn't mess around with the gun issue AT ALL, tip-toes around the logging issue, and stands up for the little guy. Smart. And you're right, he is THE MAN. Best Congressman I've ever had. Sometimes I feel left out because when people say "write your Congressman", I know I don't have to because Pete's already there!

3. DeFazio does it right

He's so approachable and personable, and besides, what really matters to the backwoods types, he votes against all gun control bills. That's his secret for staying in his Congressional seat in a district that's at least half libertarian-Republican.

The backwoods types would vote for Pol Pot if he opposed gun control legislation.

4. Gun Control

You know, from what I know of DeFazio, he's actually opposed to gun control legislation. He really doesn't like gun control. Not that this doesn't work to his political advantage, but...
