When phone calling, canvassing, offer to pick up ballots. I had a guy today who is bedridden and needs that help. I'm pretty sure it's legal, right? Every little bit counts!

1. If you are worried about the legality of it, call your county |

clerk.
Lots of things are up to the discretion of the county clerk. A few years ago, my husband broke his leg a couple days before the election. He was in the hospital, and could not get to the polls. They let me carry his absentee ballot to the hospital, and then bring it back to the courthouse.
I bet it would be okay for you to pick up ballots, but let them know what you are doing.

So there's no going to the polls. This guy should be able to get his home health worker to mail his ballot, but he asked for help so I'm definitely giving it. I've given my ballot to my kids to drop off in the past, I'm sure there's no problem with that. I just don't know if it's okay to offer to do it when you're making canvassing calls, I can't see how it would be illegal. Which is why I posed the question, in case somebody knew otherwise.
