Who else thinks Kerry has coattails? |
|
I think a big turnout for Kerry in Oregon may mean positive results in the Legislative races for the Dems, and a tight vote on Measure 36.
I'd love to see the Dems take the Oregon Senate outright, but it's probably too much to hope for the House.
Any other Oregonians feeling DAMN GOOD tonight? :)

2. I'm worried as hell about the national, but I think we may stop M36 |

Newscast just put Multnomah turnout @ 76%, which ought to be enough to override the rural bumblefuck bigotry vote.

3. Well, in other anti-gay measures (Measures 9 & 13) |
|
Multnomah County along with the college towns have been able to override the homophobic hayseeds.

4. Well, we're losing on this one by 5 points, so far |
|
I don't know if Multnomah turnout is going to be enough to swing it http://egov.sos.state.or.us/results/2004_G100_meas_36_detail.htmMultnomah only running 60-40 against, so I don't think we're going to be able to compensate this time.
