North Huntingdon, Irwin and North Irwin Save the Library

We saved the library and voted to keep its tax funding in place!

I am so grateful to all the folks who helped out with this effort!

My dh & I worked the poll across the street from our house.

Most people - I would guess 80-90% of those who came to vote said that they absolutely would support the library and vote no. Many of them said thank you to us for being there to remind people of the issue, and alot of them had comments like "this is a no-brainer", " I want intelligent people in this community", and "this is so stupid, why is this even on the ballot?".

May the whack-jobs who put this on the ballot burn in hell & be forced to stare at shelf after shelf after shelf of books, knowing they unlock the power of knowledge, without ever being able to read them!

I wonder if they read the bible??
