My congressman truely bites the weenie. |
|
Joe Pitts, the only PA rep to vote against Blackwater oversight. Also voted against Schip funding. Who does this guy represent? Who put him in office? Is my county (Chester) that out of touch?

pretty much all of Lancaster County, southern Chester County, and parts of Berks including the City of Reading. Lancaster County's got more Bush votes than any other in the state...the only significant Dem areas in the district are the City of Lancaster and whatever little piece of the City of Reading he's got, since Reading was chopped into like 3 different districts to render it politically impotent.
Good luck with getting rid of him. Barring something drastic happening to Pitts (a la Sherwood) or a serious change in the district borders, you ain't gonna get a Democrat elected there anytime soon.

2. Oooo..I didn't know that. |

I didn't realize he took in all that red area. That explains it. Since his office is nearby and he is ours here, I thought he was more local.

and many more as maybe, just maybe, you can sway him some, but let him know there are not just republicons in his district and he's to represent all in the district?
