1. Damn. Regola is human scum and his son is no better. |
|
I shouldn't be surprised. My husband is so disgusted with Westmoreland County right wing juries, that he is wants to get out of the legal profession which he once dearly loved.
Regola brought in the president of St. Vincent's College (the guy who brought Bush in to give the college's commencement address last year) as a character witness. The whole thing stinks.
Oh, and did I mention the defense attorney is from a mob family? His dad is none other than Charles "Chucky" Porter convicted mobster.

4. Maybe your husband shouldn't give up and even run against him for office. |
|
Wish I could vote for your husband, but I don't live in that county. Tell him we have so few fighting for what is right with so many quiting because of disgust due to the corruption that it allows the corruption a free hand in its own escallation. Just look at bush and how our own party has been corrupted enough to let those criminals get away with so much. Consider it anyway.

That man is guilty as sin. I am ashamed to live in Westmoreland County. Wish I had been called for jury duty for this one!

The brother-in-law's testimony should have been enough to convict him. Who gives a 14-year old a gun for Christmas? Bob Regola, that's who.
Does anyone know who is running against him in November?

6. The Farrells have filed a civil suit against Regola. |

State Sen. Regola Facing Civil Lawsuit
(KDKA)" State Senator Bob Regola is now facing a civil lawsuit in connection with the death of his 14-year-old neighbor.
Last week, Regola was acquitted by a jury in a criminal case. In that trial, he was facing charges of perjury, reckless endangerment and allowing a minor, his son, illegally possesses the weapon.
The case stemmed from the death of Regola's neighbor, Louis Farrell, who was found shot to death in woods behind their homes in July of 2006. The teen's death was later ruled as suicide.
This morning, Farrell's parents filed a wrongful death suit against the Regola. It comes just four days before the statute of limitations would have expired.
The families still live in neighboring homes, and Regola said in an interview with KDKA that he hoped the Farrell family would not sue. "
It makes me sick how Regola has been calling this a political "witch-hunt."
