Two people from Allegheny County who were tested for possible swine flu have tested negative for the affliction, officials announced today.
A woman who presented flu symptoms after returning from a trip to Mexico had the remnants of a seasonal flu. That was confirmed by testing by the state. The county Health Department had announced the testing yesterday.
Local quick screening and state testing of a second case that materialized today showed that person had a different virus.
The identities of the patients have not been made public.
