After anguishing over contributions...

I ended giving $100 to Progressive Democrats of America, $100 to Democratic Senate Campaign Committee, and $100 to Joe Sestak for Senate.

1/3 for progressives.
1/3 for the moderates and even the --ugh!-- blue dogs (which was matched because I made the Sept. 30 deadline)
1/3 for my local guy because I remember what it's like being represented by Rick Santorum.

I'm being more generous than I ever have in my political contributions. Why? Because this year, that awful liberal government-run healthcare program (Medicare) paid $195,000 for my aortic valve replacement. Probably extending my good years another decade.

Jeez, I'd love to see the TeaBaggers and the media humbled...
