A few GOOD things, IMO - Long time GOP Rep Joe Pitts LOST yesterday, |
|
replaced by a Dem...and long time Blue Dog Democrat Tim Holden lost to a Republican who I know nothing about...but Holden was in office for decades and was a DINO so it is probably not much change there. Joe Pitts was a real pig - it is a relief to have him leaving. I think Democrats really lacked the will to show up despite the relatively large numbers of votes - I think some voted against teh Blud dogs and those they saw as not real Democrats, but I have no idea whi some very good Democrats went down, like Pat Murphy or lost so badly like Joe Sestak. Overall, not much to be happy about except that is was not worse. But I am not looking forward to the next few years.
