Corbett's budget announcement at 11:30 AM today...He will "swing a sharp ax" |
|
according to the local TV news...He has already announced that the GOP governors are working to undermine "Obama's agenda", but he says it is "for the sake of the taxpayers, not from any conspiracy or political motive to get back at the president..."
Thanks, Tom-I feel better knowing that....

1. He's kept a tight lid on it - which is alarming |

Usually there will be a few deliberate and/or unofficial leaks. Tells me his people are ruled with an iron fist. I'm expecting some bombshells.
The "sharp ax" is an apt metaphor - a lot of local government entities and individual Pennsylvanians will doubtless be severely injured.

Expect Obama, Rendell, and The Democrats to be blamed for it...

the county gov't I work for and the department I work for is virtually fully funded by state/federal money. Our commissioners have laid out in their 2011 budget no tax increase which means any dollars cut from our funding will more than likely mean not as many consumers being served.
