We voted this morning at 11 AM...we were #45 and 46 at our poll, |
|
out of over 840 people registered to vote there...The only person outside was handing out leaflets for Schwank, the Democrat.
I am HOPING that many more Democratic voters show up for this. it is only for the remaining year of a Senate term, but many have said that it is a race with national importance as a "weather vane"-IF the Democrats win and continue to hold the seat, it indicates they are resurging...If the GOPers win this seat-that was held by a strong and popular Democrat for 7 terms-it will give them even more arrogance.
Please vote if you are eligible. We need every one!

3. I hope people are paying attention to what Corbett and |

Republicans are doing. I think most people are opposed to Corbett's education cuts.

4. Polls close at 8PM- I expect we will have an unofficial result by 9 or so... |
|
seems like there won't be very many votes to count. I hope the republicans don't show up, but they nearly always do...This is the first time anyone new will have that seat since 1972! I really hope it is still a Democrat.
