Frank Caprio shows his true colors, tells Obama to shove it |
|
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20101025/ap_on_el_gu/us_ri_governor_caprioSorry, I'm sure someone will report this eventually, but Frank Caprio is not a real Democrat, and he's just shown his slip.

3. Who did Chafee endorse for president in 2008? |
|
Also, what do you think of a "Democrat" who advocates extending the Bush tax cuts for all?

4. A Governor has nothing to do with federal taxes |
|
Chafee was a Republican. Chafee propped up a Republican majority. Chafee's ego indy bid makes it possible that the Republican candidate could win this election with 35% of the vote. Chafee cast plenty of wrong votes in the Senate but you're for him cause Caprio differs from Democrats on one issue that he would have no control over as Governor?
I believe Republicans have held the RI Governorship for 4 terms! It's time for a Democrat. Not a gutless little legacy candidate who thinks he's entitled to office because of his daddy and stayed a Republican until he finally lost.
Rhode Island Democrats have been there for President Obama. He should be there for them and support their duly nominated candidate.

5. I'm against Caprio for many reasons |

Yeah, he doesn't have anything to do with federal taxes. So why weigh in on the Bush tax cuts for any reason other than to try to suck up to the right?
Anti-union, anti-teacher, his shot at Obama was done on a right-wing talk radio show in attempt to sway voters away from the Republican to him. He's run to the right on every major issue to the point that even the liberal free weekly here in RI, The Phoenix, has endorsed Chafee. Chafee's even been endorsed by NEARI and Council 94 (Teacher and state workers unions). That's unheard of for a Democrat to not get that endorsement. We all know what Caprio is about, and his anti-Obama rant and saying he using us as "an ATM machine" proves it. Still a lot of questions about his meeting with the RNC last spring too.
Seems many Democrats agree as his numbers have dropped 12 points.....and those folks aren't going to Robitaille. Frankie screwed himself trying to woo the reich-wing of RI, who by the way......HATE Chafee's guts.
Duly nominated candidate?......We never had a choice. Frankie outspent his one opponent into oblivion and withdrawal. He was the only candidate in the primary, and I abstained from voting that race.
