Charlestowne Landing reopened today.

We went out to take a look at the refurbished park, thinking that all the bullshit would be over by the time we got there.

Mark Sanford was there and I just wanted to smack the man upside the head. He was wearing enough fake suntan stuff to make him about as dark as Bill Cosby. I really doubt that that's going to go over well with a good portion of our state's voters.

1. If you're thinking about checking out the refurbished

Charlestowne Landing, don't take your dogs with you. They're no longer allowed in the park except between the hours of 6:30 and 8:30am; recreator hours. People have always taken dogs there, great walking trails, lots of stuff to sniff. Dog owners have always been courteous, rarely seen is unscooped poop.

But now we're no longer allowed to take them with us. I'm really pissed.

2. It gets even worse.

Today I found out that people are no longer allowed to bike through Charlestowne Landing except during 'recreator' hours (6:30-8:30am) either.

No dogs, no bikes, what's next? Will I be asked to leave because I use a mobility scooter?

Not that they have a lab but they restricted the dogs even on leashes I believe.
