Are we the only state that didn't feel the "tsunami?" |
|
I haven't checked deep into the results, but it looked like Democrats in our state got hammered. I know one of the few state offices (Treasurer) that was held by a Democrat was lost tonight. It seems like most of the Republicans held onto their seats, and I'm not sure any Democrats picked any up. Is this right?
If so, that kinda stinks. It was my first time voting, so it's a little depressing to know I'm so outnumbered in my home state.
At least it is relieving to know that even though we may have "lost the battle" in SC, we won the war nationwide! Does that mean we are the last remaining vestige of "Dumbfuckistan?" :(
