Here in Charleston we:

1. Consider the Confederate memorial to be a central landmark,

2. Go to a bluegrass shack in Berkley County on Saturday nights,

3. Attend the Spoleto finale,

4. All love Hootie and the Blowfish,

and

5. Shag

So, America, now you know Charleston! Having watched this, it makes me wonder what I can learn from watching the media tell me about life in other cities in this country and around the world. And the answer, I think, is: not much.
