Charlestowne Landing, when it reopened after remodeling, no longer allowed dogs in the park or for you to bring your own bicycle...even though they still rented them.

The policy has changed. Dogs and bicycles are now allowed. While talking to the person at the entry desk, I asked about how many complaints they had gotten. He said that they received a lot of negative comments (and press...through letters to the editor), but that the outrage was slanted more toward the exclusion of dogs than the bicycle ban.

So, we made a difference.
