South Carolina to Offer Cross on Car Plates

South Carolina drivers will be the first in the nation to be offered license plates that carry the phrase “I Believe” and a Christian cross over a stained-glass window under a law that took effect on Thursday.

1. I still think the plate is perfect

when paired with a bumper sticker right below it:

I BELIEVE:
in the flying spaghetti monster
that hate is not a family value
that this is the stupidest license plate ever
that religion is dangerous

3. 2 problems I have with this: if it was a religion other than Xianity, probably a person couldn't

get a personalized plate.

Do you have to parade it and polish the dickens out of it. Your actions and personality will tell the whole planet, whether or not you believe there is a power that is bigger than you are. This makes me so sick. I don't trust peopl like that. I see danger no matter what they parade in my face. I love South Carolina,and I hope they don't show such poor taste. I wonder who came up with this idea !

4. a compromise

and it won't even require any new legislation. Every car has the means to attach a tag to the front bumper. Keep your religion out of my government, and you can make a tag and put anything you want on the front bumper, or on the back bumper with a sticker. Something like "I believe and everybody who doesn't is going to hell." In fact, if anybody tried to stop you from doing that, part of my ACLU dues will go towards defending you.
