I used to live in the Columbia area. Seems like in the mid-80's, one year

we had our first frost by this time of year. Is my memory correct?

Hell, I think Florida sometimes gets frost in October. (Not often, mind you.) Today and tomorrow, on the other hand, it's headed for 88 or possibly 90 degrees. The state fair is somewhat a bummer as the air is no longer as crispy as it used to be; just seems wrong.
