I feel badly for Georgia Democrats who elected Zell because he ran as a Dem and then turned on his backers. Inez tells us right up front that she opposes the National Democratic Party, opposes a progressive agenda and that SC liberals will have no voice in Washington if she is elected. At least I won't have to be worried about being stabbed in the back- both she and DeMint are willing to look me in the eye as they turn the blade.

1. Just saw an attack ad against Inez

paid for by "Americans for Job Security". I wonder who the heck that is?

2. I'm not so sure about that...

Granted, I agree that Inez's agenda is not as progressive as many Democratic Senate candidates, but I think that Inez realizes that she has to play the conservative card somewhat to appeal to moderates and even Republicans thinking about going against DeMint.

3. She favors a Constitutional Amendment to Ban Gay Marriage-

favors the War in Iraq, favors the Patriot Act. The only difference between DeMint and Inez is a dress. What makes anyone believe that inez would oppose Bush's right wing judicial nominees? Democrats don't have a dog in this hunt.

But, the campaign is being run so horribly that we SC Dems will have to suffer two GOP Senators as opposed to a GOP and a GOP-like, Zell Miller senator.

4. two friggin JUNIOR GOP

senators with no clout. Inez is towing a real middle-of-the-road, offend-no-one line since she allegedly has the support of many republican women. I think she should stand for what she REALLY believes rather than adopt a repuke-lite stance. Let the chips fall where they may so that if you lose, at least you stood for something. If those are her deep down genuine feelings, then she needs to get the fuck out of the party. I feel no joy about this race.

On a side, bitchy note ... she reminds me of Minnie Mouse. LOL

But you have to like her ... she and her family (according to my vet - a reliable source) are very kind to animals ... they rescue many .... and adopt them out .... they are good people !!!

6. The big difference

is who they will vote for as Majority Leader. The party in the majority get all of the committee chairs, and is in a better position to push through their legislation and block the legislation of the opposing party.

who will the next Senator vote for in regards to Supreme Court nominees.
