South Carolina Ports
When will they be offered to the UAE?

Or will they?

1. W's still hoping for that fundamentalist takeover in SC
Failing that, he'll just give us straight to the Saudis. Charleston's Bandar's kind of town.

2. Hey undisclosedlocation
Long time no see. On checking I see the SC ports are operated by the South Carolina Ports Authority. They are not likely to give that away.

My SIL in South Carolina has been keeping me posted on the Cooper River bridges. I was not aware they were taking both down. Seems like yesterday they were building the Pearlman Bridge. SIL family are up in arms over the ports business and they think cowboy george is a lesser God.

There is an navy outfit (EOD) reunion in Mt. Pleasant in March. I cannot go. Bet it would be interesting. We lived in Mt Pleasant two different times.

I have a true love story 'KAZUKO' in thenecessarylanguage.com . Check it out. Maybe you might consider putting a story in the next edition.

4. They had to stop blasting the old bridges
because they were having a hard time finding the pieces and clearing them out of the channel. So now they have a Dutch barge and demolition company taking them apart and lowering spans.

I think you can buy one cheap.

5. Hey China_Cat
My SIL sent pictures of some of the bridge removal. I was surprised both the Grace and Pearlman were taken down. My in-laws worked on construction of the Pearlman. Seems like yesterday.

I will not be making the reunion I guess. Too old too ill.
