I'm willing to work for him or for anybody, but I don't apologize for being tired of losing, especially to a useless zero like Sanford. What are thoughts?

1. I think anyone can beat Sanford
I even think there is a possibility of him not winning the primary - I hope he does because I've worked with Lovelace before and he is such a nice guy and would hate to vote against him. But people who know more about state politics then I do say that there is no way that Sanford wouldn't win the primary.

The fact is that he has done an awful job and even many Republicans don't like him.

3. With Re to Sanford
He has not done much. This may be his losing season. Do not know anything about Holland or anyone else. It is past time to get someone at the starting gate! JMO. I think that he will defintely carry the Lowcountry. But whay I can not understand. When I will think back on his term I'll remember him asking people (during the Katrina gas hike..) not to bring big red containers and take more than they need. This state is one of the worst as for as fuel dependency is concerned.
Ask anyone about the transit authority in Charleston (CARTA).

4. Unfortunately, not doing much usually isn't enough to do in an incumbent
but he certainly ought to be vulnerable. Holland announced in February; I'm not aware of anyone else doing so. (re: your starting gate comment) I wish Joe Riley would run again, but I don't think he will.
