Had breakfast with Wm. "Griff" Griffith at Tommy's Ham House this AM. |
|
Griff is running against incumbent Bob Inglis (R-Upstate) for the 4th District seat in the US House of Representatives. Our breakfast was a one-on-one and ranged the gamut of current issues. Griff was persuaded to run for Congress by former Senator Fritz Hollings (D-SC). Griff, a Democrat, has an uphill battle here in the upstate. Although he has a lot of moderate Republican support, the Bu$h-base in SC (which far exceeds the 33% national approval rating) is rooted in a large fundamental Christian following. Check Griff out at www.votegriff.com , or contact/contribute at:
Vote Griffith P.O. Box 5479 Greenville, SC 29606
Griff needs volunteers and money, but not necessarily in that order. I'll be helping him out with time and what money I can spare.

I'm trying to help Michael Ellisor, who is running against that little shit Joe Wilson, knowing he will get trounced. My main concern though is Robert Barber for Lt Gov. He's a great guy, and can definitely win with all the problems Bauer has had. Check him out at www.robertbarber2006.com

HAHA!!!! That cracks me up as I grew up in that assclown's district!!!!
Barber looks like a good candidate and he definitely has a chance against ol' leadfoot. Do you know if he plans on coming to the Upstate anytime soon?
