Some question's
Hi all. I have a few question's.

1) Is Bredesen is up for re-election next year or 2007?

2) Will there be a state party conevention? I've never been to one and would love to.

3) Does anybody know if there will be merchandise to buy supporting Bredesen and also Mrs. Kurita?

Thanks in advanced.

1. Bredesen was elected in 2003, so it will be 2007.
the TNDP just had it's annual Jackson Day Dinner, with John Edwards as guest.
go to http://www.tndp.org/ they have a calendar of upcoming events and a calendar of upcoming elections.

You should also check out the Music Row Democrats at

5. Thanks
I've seen those sites before and visit the first one every once in a while. Apparently the Jackson day event was really successful. I wish I could've gone. I would've loved to have heard Edwards, Bredesen and Kurita speak. :) I wish there was video's.

2. Bredesen is up for re-election in 2006. Also
there is a Democrat Party Convention each year (I think) and I know there will be various merchandise that you can purchase to support Bredesen. I live about 20 miles north of Nashville and I would really enjoy going to the state convention, how about we stay in touch and go together? I'll put you on my buddy list

4. I thought so too
 I'm not sure. Apparently he's up again in 2006. I found an article where his republican challenger in the last election said he was running against him in 2006. His name is Hilleary. Has anybody heard anything about him? I found the article on, ew, free republic back in 2002. I'll have to check out the calender. I saw Edwards was going to be here but wasn't able to go. :( So since that article was from 2002 I assume it'll be 2006. I hope he wins again. I'm not ready for him to quit yet. It would be very impressive if he someday ran for president to say he was a two-time mayor and governor of "red" areas. :)
