Listeners, guests try to save 'Round Table'

Listeners and guests of a Nashville-based public issues radio and television show have started raising money to try to keep Teddy Bart's Round Table on the air.

The two-hour morning show's last broadcast is Friday. Members of its nonprofit board decided that it was no longer financially viable.

Bill Fletcher, a political consultant and regular commentator on the program, is organizing the campaign and said $3,000 had been raised yesterday to keep the show's Web site going after Friday.

Those interested can contact Fletcher at fletcher@frcconsulting.biz.

1. Please keep us updated
I really enjoy his show when I have listened and I love how he has people on all sides of the political isle to talk about issues. He really is fair and balanced. I wrote him an Email giving my support and praises of the show and he actually wrote me back! :D So I hope it goes well! We need shows like his. Too bad he couldn't be affiliated on an AAR station.
