Successful Kefauver Dinner in Chattanooga
Link: http://blog.hamdems.org/

Wow. Can you believe the Hamilton County Democrats? The New Party in town makes it debut tonight. We have over 50 tables sold out ( I know because I am doing the Centerpieces ((the paper U.S. hat)). We have run out of hats and now I have some kind of red, white and blue creation for the remainder of the tables.
Just heard the number is over 500 tonight, including: Gov. and First Lady Bredesen, Sen. Max Cleland, Sen. Rosalind Kurita, Congressman Harold Ford, Rep. Joanne Favors, Mayor Ron & Lanis Littlefield, TNDP Chair Bob Tuke, HCDP Chair Stuart James, soon to be Congressman Terry Stulce, soon to be Commisssioners: John Bailes, Warren Mackey and John Brooks. I know I have left out people so feel free to add them or your name to our list.
This is great, we are finally getting our act together and organizing. Yes. 2006 will bring change. Hey, maybe we will also be celebrating other elections of our Democratic Sisters & Brothers around the country, too.

1. It was sad when I had to inform someone at "The World Can't Wait Rally"
that I wouldn't be able to attend this time. It's the first one that I've missed in a few years and I wanted to see Max Cleland. I did ask if an audio and/or video could be made. Spouse is out of town and 2 of my kids have band practice on Tues. and Thurs. nights 'til 6, and the dinner started at 6, and since I haven't figured out how to clone myself it wasn't gonna happen. I've talked to a couple of people today who said it was great.

If you're interested, the Wal-Mart movie will be showing next Tues. night (15th) at the IBEW Bldg. (Democracy for Chattanooga) at 6:00 (I think). Hope to see you there!

School is getting too busy though. :( I wanted to go and see Bredesen, Cleland and all the other canidates. Do you know if you can put a copy of the video on a link to download for us if you can get one? 500 is a lot. Sounds successful. I would've loved to see Mayor Littlefield again. I met him before the election when he was campaigning and he was so nice. Do you know if he's a democrat or an indie? He said he was an indie but I've heard he's a democrat. I'm just wondering about that.
