Anyone in the Middle TN area want a Cocker Spaniel?

My cousin volunteers at the shelter near Kingston Springs and says they have an 8-year-old, golden Cocker Spaniel male who is house trained, well behaved and fixed who has been turned in. Someone took him home for a week and said he was perfect. He is at the shelter and shaking and scared because of all the puppy barking and noise and she would really like to find this guy a home pretty quick. I have just taken in my SIL's 13-year-old Border Collie because she was always left outside and we are in the adjustment process for her being an indoor dog and with my other animals so I don't think I could add another one now. Let me know if you know of a home for this guy and I will get you connected.

1. I really wish I could afford to do it.....

I already have six dogs now and the care and upkeep of my friends prohibits adding any more. I really just responded to bump this to the top.

I'm in East Tennessee and come from a family who has raised cockers and bred them.
