In reading boards and articles that want to "draft Gore", I have wondered about this topic. With all of the hoopla about Florida, some forget that if Gore had only have won his home state that he would have been Prez. I remember reading a quote from Gore in 2001, that he planned to go back to Tennessee to "rebuild some bridges". Has that happened? I would love to see a Tennessee poll on Gore. Not asking people about 2008 necessarily. Would like to see this question asked. "Is your opinion of Al Gore generally favorable or unfavorable?".

and it came back to bite him. As best as I remember he didn't campaign here except for a Nashville stop or two. 2000 was when outrage finally got me to take notice of politics. Shamefully, I didn't lift a finger here to help him, thinking that surely everyone would want another 4 years of peace & prosperity...
