Political Affiliation of Cooperstown Mayor Danny Crosby?

A recent newspaper article says that Mayor Danny Crosby of Cooperstown, Tennessee is facing ouster procedures because of racial slurs and other behavior. Nowhere can we find a party affiliation for this man.

The reason for our interest is because of a statement that I made. I said that if Crosby was a Democrat that information would be trumpeted all over the place. I also said something to the extent that when Republicans faced bad pr situations, the newspapers were less likely to mention political affiliation.

Another poster searched google for over an hour and could find no reference to Danny Crosby's political affiliation.

Now we are interested in this affiliation mainly because it cannot be found.

Anyone out there know the answer?
