Bredesen web site... Where's the bucket for my puke?
I just looked around at the Bredesen web site, but no matter how hard I looked, I couldn't manage to fine a bucket for my puke... Am I missing something? Do I need to click some link to get to the puke bucket?

His latest TV ads are an outrage... I haven't been this depressed as a Democrat since the last elections when Bush won the white house for a second term. It's flat out demoralizing... AND he's simultaneously undermining the chances of Democrats across the state running for House and Senate races... many of whom voted for tax reform, including yes... an "income tax," and now have to defend that vote not only against their opposition, but their OWN governor!

On top of all that, the ad campaign is fraught with untruths and distortions... He didn't raise taxes??? No, I guess he didn't... he just passed the buck to cities and counties to do it by cutting state shared money the counties/cities get. He created a new health care program? What about the 200,000+ people whose health care he eliminated? He increased funding for education? What about the 9% cuts two years ago... Oh, and we're still 49th in edation funding, 48th in high school graduation rates, and 48th in public university enrollment rates. Wow! What a legacy Bredesen... Yeah, I'll vote... right after I puke... but I won't be voting for you.

Sorry to vent on this forum, but if we are going to build a strong Democratic Party in Tennessee, we cannot let it be coopted by the likes of Bredesen.

1. Bredesen=Good, Van Hilleary=Bad, Bredesen=Good, Bryson=Bad
Bredesen has done an excellent job leading this state from the GOP deficits, corruption, and decimate of our state.

If you don't agree with him, that's your choice. But give it a rest. He brought us from bankruptcy to fiscal solvency, improved education, pre-K education, and children's health insurance.

He's really, really good as our governor..

2. I agree with you SharonAnn. Bredesen has done an excellent job of
getting our state straightened out from the mess he inherited from Republicans that controlled our state before he took office.
Re-elect Bredesen 2006
