Wamp's a Trip (according to Mark Foley!)
This is from a former page who has gone public. I edited out his screenie, but the story says "(the page), a 1998 graduate of Karns High School, said he put up with the suggestive talk by Rep. Foley because he thought he might be able to help him in the future." The whole thing STINKS!

....

xxxx: hence why i'm asking you.

maf54: hes a trip

xxxx: a good trip or a bad trip?

maf54: a trip

xxxx: lol

xxxx: :-p

xxxx: well, that doesn't help me much

1. Hilarious
I'd love to hear an explanation from the Wampster about this! Wonder what this means? If I remember, Wamp admitted to being an ex-cocaine user. He broke his own term limit pledge too by running again.

2. No, no, no he admitted to writing bad checks because he was using
cocaine, but then he found god and everything is cool now. Oops, my bad I guess he did admit to being a former cocaine user!

This is what he released in a statement that appeared in today's paper:

"Over the years, my office has sponsored a number of congressional pages. While we have not heard from all of them, I am thankful that the former pages we talked with have only been extremely positive about their experiences in Washington."

He said he has called for a full congressional review of Rep. Foley's conduct and welcomed the House Ethics Committee's actions. (Nothing about hastert and others covering things up and the house lack of ethics committee will ensure that none of this is ever fully investigated). IMHO of course. :hi:
