Question about Al Gore and Tennessee. |
|
I don't live in Tennessee but I am wondering about Al Gore. Do you think it would be helpful if he campaigned for Ford?
Sorry to butt in on your state form but I am curious.

I think someone like Kerry would be better since Kerry has been out in the public's eye but Gore hasn't for a little while now. I'm not really sure. I think Ford could get all the help though and honestly am surprised Gore hasn't campaigned for Ford yet.

2. Eventhough he didn't take TN in 2000 |

I don't feel like there's any ill will toward Gore here. At least here in middle TN where he's from. Nobody questions the man's intelligence and decision making ability and he's gotten much better with age.

Gore is an adult leader in a world of children.

i'm guessing that it might be risky. Ford has the base already. I don't think Gore would be the best person he needs to try and pick off some of the undecides/independents. Bredesen will help him in that area.

5. since Gore lost TN.... |

it probably wouldn't be wise for him to openly campaign for Ford.
