Just saw a corker ad, another knew low, if that's possible..... |

something to do with Ford being against workers and gave the number to ford's headquarters and asked everybody to call him and tell them they don't agree with his stance, vote whatever. In any case the message was clear, jam ford's phone lines thru tuesday so as to disrupt the campaign. Another sleazy, lowlife repuke tactic. Some rethug went to jail for calling over and over again and jamming the phone lines at the hq of a race in vt (I think it was vt). They had planned to offer rides to the polls for those registered dems that didn't have transportation. Couldn't get a call all day. Just when you think they couldn't go any lower, they surpass themselves. What a despicable bunch of asswipes.

much lately. We already have a ride log started for election day. I just hope the lowlifes don't start any of that crap here. Perhaps jam the lines to the main headquarters in Nashville?

I don't know if it's a statewide campaign to give out his hq phone number in other markets across the state or just here in Nashville. If they orchestrate a phone jam in Memphis, Ford's screwed. Maybe, it's an over reaction, but when I saw the ad with Ford's local hq number in big, bold numbers and corker saying 'call his office and tell him what you think', it really set off an alarm bell with me.
It just came on as I was typing this! The ad is about Ford supporting unions along with Ted Kennedy and (Hillary?) It goes on and on about, Unions Bad, Me Good. Firemen, policemen in the ad (didn't catch what's up with that), some real bullshit.
The right to work law. Quote, corker says, "Call Harold Ford and tell him to APOLOGIZE." Sponsored by Your Right to Work Committee PAC.

3. Well, I'll be damned and what a coincidence! |
|
This morning I was wading through the messages on my answering machine and there was a message on there about Ford casting a vote against property owners ending with 'call Ford's office and ask him why he voted against property owners'. It didn't give a phone number in the robocall message though.
Have I mentioned lately how much I despise repugnuts and their tactics?

was a pollwatcher in Nashville yesterday and the TN Republican party had a lobbbyist from Virginia (I thought they had their own problems). The Dems had a get out to vote rally across from the early voting place (Bordeaux Library) with free BBQ. He said he wished they had brought in a couple of bus loads of Repubs to go over and eat the food and get in line to hopefully get some Dems to leave without voting. I don't think it would have worked, the last voters waited over 3 hours to cast their ballots. Another Corker pollwatcher the other day commented on a young man voting who's pants were worn low, that "people that can't pull their pants up, shouldn't be allowed to vote". Okay....
