Campaign Kickoff Celebration for Carol Berz!

November 26th from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. at the Henry Branch YMCA-Eastgate Town Center.

Meet Candidate Berz and enjoy food and fun - voter registration will be available on site.

One of Ms. Berz's goals is to try to heal the divisions that Marti Rutherford created in the district. Even if you don't live in the district, please join us. I don't live in the district, but I will be working for Ms. Berz and any volunteers will be welcomed!

The Brainerd Unity Group (BUG) will hold a District 6 City Council Candidates' Forum on Thursday, Jan. 24 at 6 p.m. All six candidates are invited.

The forum will be held at Friendship Community Church on the corner of Brainerd Rd. and Tuxedo Ave. Bishop Sean Teal, pastor of the church, has once again graciously agreed to let us use his facility.

The Brainerd Unity Group hosted a District 10 State Senate Forum in October which was very well attended. Joe Lance, of TennesseeTicket.com, who moderated the senate forum, has agreed to serve in that role again for the District 6 Forum. Joe is a resident of District 6.

We will send out more information on the format in the near future. Until then, please mark your calendars for Jan. 24.

2. Hey Flirtus! I have no idea of whether you're the only Dist. 6

DUer or not! For county commission races I'm in 9 and for state assembly races I'm in 11 and I don't think there are many DUers from my area, quelle surprise!

I'm glad that you're involved in a local campaign! :thumbsup: I'm working with some of the BUG group, too!

Perhaps I will run into you and finally get to meet you at this event in Jan.?
