3. There are a few states with major swings |
|
Seems like after the RNC there were a few states that were leaning Kerry with 2-3 point leads in our favor that turned into 9 point leads for Bush.
Not sure what to say about that, other than I think the sampling may be off in these most recent rounds of polls. I suspect this weekends polls or the next Zogby released for Tenn will have them more back in line with a neck and neck race.
If these most recent polls are good samples and truly do indicate a 9 point lead for Bush in Tenn the we all need to GET TO WORK! See my call to action in this forum with contact info for you local campaign headquarters.
I gotta say though, honestly I think this latest polling is off. Here in Knox County (East Tenn) I am seeing nothing but a MAJOR groundswell of support for Kerry/Edwards.

5. I can tell you the problem.... |
|
it's the churches and the religious "wing-nuts" out there stirring up the gay marriage thing among other issues they have concerns about. Kerry still has LOTS of support here but the churches have way too much control over people here. THey're afraid they'll go to hell if they don't vote for Dubya. Never mind that people are losing jobs and mothers with small children are going hungry! It's frickin' CRAZY!!!!

7. This could be the case, but... |
|
if we keep up the fight and keep our open minded, optimistic and hopeful message in front of everyone they will see the difference.
A party and candidate of hope, optimism, inclusion, and honor...
vs.
A party and candidate of war, fear, exclusion, and lies
I'm meeting more and more people each day that are sick of the Bush fear and smear... not only with Kerry's records but in the manner in which they are trying to use God and wedge issues like Gay Marriage against us.
We should be watching these churches... if ANY of them put ANY political propaganda in their buildings or use their building specifically for the promotion of one party over the other then they will loose their tax exempt status.
Maybe we should have "church watchers" just like we have "poll watchers."

6. well, actually as of now.... |
|
it's "weak" for Bush but I'm disappointed that we're not at LEAST weak leaning towards Kerry.
