A former state representative who was the target of a controversial campaign is suing the state's ethics commission after it dismissed his complaint against two Republican lawmakers.
Nathan Vaughn, who served in the House from 2002 until his defeat in November, filed the suit Wednesday in Davidson County Chancery Court.

The lawsuit refers to a complaint Vaughn filed with the Tennessee Ethics Commission, accusing House Republican Caucus Chairman Glen Casada of Franklin and House Majority Leader Jason Mumpower of Bristol of improper conduct during the election by misleading voters through Web sites under Vaughn's name.
The commission dismissed the complaint in January.
In the lawsuit, Vaughn accuses the commission of not having the proper number of members to make a decision on the complaint and calls for another review.

The sleaze politics of Ramsey,Mumpower, and the rest ruined any chance of Nathan succeeding in the election. I hope that he gets justice served. Nathan has done alot for the people of east Tenn. and these people have a lot to thank him for.
