Lt. Gov. Ramsey's New "Grand Old Party" Senate Rules Still O.K.s Sex with TNGA Interns; Prohibits Car Washing

A widely reported sexual affair that a married, Christian republican state senator imposed upon his vulnerable, young female TNGA intern has recently spurred half-hearted new rules from Lt. Governor Ron Ramsey (R-Blountville) at the Tennessee General Assembly --- such as the new Ramsey guidelines calling for no personal errands to be run by interns for politicians --- may provide interns some measure of protection from sexual harrassment by Republican legislators withn the Tennessee General Assembly, although the new set of "Ramsey Rules" does not actually prohibit TNGA legislators from engaging in sexual affairs with interns or having access to multiples of interns through assignments to their legislative offices.
