Tim Profitt, the Rand Paul donor and fired Paul for Senate Bourbon County coordinator who stomped on activist Lauren Valle's head in Lexington, Kentucky tried to play down the importance of the incident Tuesday, and went so far as to ask the victim for an apology.
Tim Profitt, Rand Paul for Senate Bourbon County, Kentucky Coordinator with the candidate. Profitt has admitted to stomping his foot on Lauren Valle's head.
"I don't think it's that big of a deal," Profitt told WKYT. "I would like for her to apologize to me to be honest with you." Profitt added, "Well I'll just say it, if the police had done what they were supposed to do, it would have never happened."
Kentucky Senate candidate Rand Paul said Tuesday the rough treatment meted out by one of his supporters to a woman outside of his debate with Democrat Jack Conway was a consequence of passionate feelings on both sides and a "crowd control problem."
Profitt has many supporters including a Ms. Sherry Moss who posted on her Facebook, "...she got EXACTLY WHAT SHE DESERVED... a troublemaker and an instigator needs to be put in her/his place and that is the end of it ...plain & simple."
