WAR ON CHRISTMAS: Texas Principals Still Face Lawsuit Over Banning Jesus Pencils & Candy Canes
By Richard Connelly, Mon., Dec. 6 2010 @ 2:02PM
Categories: Courts, Education

Two Texas elementary school principals have failed in their attempt to have the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals dismiss a suit filed against them for trying to kill the spirit of Christmas, not to mention Jesus, in innocent young children, who are blessed in His eyes.

Lynn Swanson and Jackie Bomchill, who are obviously hellspawn, refused to let students distribute Jesus pencils or candy canes that had notes attached explaining that candy canes are symbolic of God, or shepherds, or something.

Thanks to the 5th Circuit -- and to brave parents who insisted on foisting their religious views on unsuspecting kids despite being told several times that they really shouldn't be doing that on school grounds -- these two Beelzebub-ites will still face lawsuits.

Thank the Lord.

The 5th Circuit opinion outlines just how evil these Plano principals were.

I know it's a blog, but it's the Houston Press' news blog, and thought y'all might like to read it, seeing as it has to do with the "War on Christmas" and all ;)

1. I frequently post blog articles
They're just as good or better than some lame stream media. The 5th circuit is pretty conservative. These two principals may just get the death penalty. :scared:

I like what one anonymous said:

"War on Christmas"
pfft.

Wake me up when one side starts shooting.

2. I was guessing that because it's the 5th circuit,
that they're expecting the worst and will just appeal to the next higher court, if it works that way.

I really like the Houston Press. They're the best real liberal paper in town :D
The other liberal media here (KPFT, the local Pacifica station) has made the news as well with their announcement to air Al-Jazeera starting tomorrow morning. The wingers are already in a huff about it ;)
