Texas judge confesses to beating disabled daughter

Video of a Texas judge beating his disabled daughter in 2004 has recently gone viral, but he’s says “it’s not as bad as it seems.”

Hillary Adams told KRIS-TV that she posted the video late last month after years of abuse by her father, Aransas County Judge William Adams.

“I’ll beat you into submission,” he said as he continued to deliver blows. “You want to put some more computer games on? You want some more? Fucking computer. I didn’t even want one in the goddamn house. See all the problems they caused?”

In all, the girl is seen taking at least 20 licks over a 7-minute period.

Just reading the description is bad enough. I'm glad this girl found the courage to put the video up. She's taken the first step in getting the help she needs.

Is there a statute of limitations for child abuse? I think the police should certainly charge this bastard with abuse if the time period has not passed. Hillary was still at child at 16 when this video was taken

I really hope that Hillary will get some real counseling. It's never too late. An apology from "Dad" doesn't cut it, and she needs a lot more to heal from the horror she lived under.

"The judge's wife was emotionally abused herself and was severely manipulated into assisting the beating and should not be blamed for any content in this video," it says. "The judge's wife has since left the marriage due to the abuse, which continues to this day, and has sincerely apologized and repented for her part and for allowing such a thing, long before this video was even revealed to exist."

Chief Jayroe confirmed his department is investigating Judge Adams.

"We haven't confirmed the authenticity of the video yet or spoke with the person who made it," Jayroe said. "It appears to have been made in 2004. We have not verified anyone's participation in the video yet."

He's been placed on two weeks' leave - at taxpayers' expense, mind you - but local police are now investigating.

But since this is Texas and I'm sure he's connected, he'll probably get away easy. :mad:

The only good thing that can come of this is that people now believe Hillary and hopefully she will get counseling. I hope some good people with good abuse counseling skills step forward to help her. At the very least she's talking about it which means she's willing to ask for help.

Texas judge has visits with daughter limited

A Texas family law judge seen beating his older daughter in a video she posted on YouTube is having visits with his younger daughter limited.

The limits on Aransas County Court-at-Law Judge William Adams include an order not to take his 10-year-old daughter from her mother, disparage her mother or drink within 24 hours of seeing his child. Another judge issued the temporary restraining order late Thursday after Adams' ex-wife filed an affidavit claiming there was conflict after their 2007 divorce.
